Dekorman's Underlayment is intended to be used beneath laminate, bamboo, and engineered wood floors that are installed using the floating method. It is suitable for a variety of subfloor types. The underlayment features a foam layer that is 3 mm thick, which provides superior cushioning and sound absorption. Additionally, the foam is designed with closed cells that offer exceptional resistance to moisture vapor. The underlayment is also compatible with your flooring to enhance your comfort.

Good buy but now costs more

In any case, we're satisfied with the purchase. The rolls had a self-styled tape on one side and and a couple of inches of clear plastic on the other side so all we had to do was line up the clear tape over the previous row's tape, remove the protective paper and press to stick. It was pretty convenient even though the paper was easily torn off at the wrong spot and was hard to get up again. Definitely a good buy even at $17 but I sure wish the price hadn't gone up so sharply all of a sudden.

I ordered this underlayment after searching for the cheapest one I could find just to do a hallway in my house. I have used many underlayments in the past 6 years in multiple homes but this one is by far the best price. The others are slightly thicker but not much. And not worth the extra price for them. This has more on the roll as well. It is doubled compared to other brands that price anywhere between $20 - $40 a roll for 100 feet. I am happy with this purchase and would recommend. I would also buy it again if I need it again at some point. Also, the photo shows what appears to be 2 rolls so I ordered for store pick up and was surprised when I only received 1 roll. So be aware that it is 1 roll.
